Abril Bonhome

For over four years, I have supported migration processes to and from Latin America and the Caribbean, advising professionals, multinational companies, and young individuals taking their first step toward an international experience.
I have lived and studied in both Buenos Aires and Barcelona, supported by an academic excellence scholarship from Fundación Carolina. My professional background includes research in urban dynamics, housing, and environmental issues, university teaching, and consulting work assisting individuals navigating relocation, adaptation, and the creation of new networks abroad.
Beyond my CV, I know the experience from the inside: packing a suitcase with more questions than certainties, arriving without a support system, learning to read new social codes, and starting over.
I am deeply interested in cultural processes, migration stories, urban spaces, and conversations that unfold without knowing exactly where they will lead.
If I were hiring La Flânerie:
I would want to arrive with a clear plan, strategically organize my first months, and be part of a supportive community throughout each stage.
My ideal destinations? Walkable cities with vibrant cultural and social life, cafés to observe and reflect, and neighborhoods where languages, cuisines, and cultures intersect. The more cosmopolitan, the better.

For over four years, I have supported entry processes to Argentina and visa applications for Europe and the United States, transforming technical and often overwhelming migration information into structured, accessible guidance.
My anthropological perspective allows me to understand that migration is not simply administrative — it is a profound cultural, emotional, and social transition.
I have also experienced adaptation processes personally and understand what it means to build belonging in a new environment.
My interests include intercultural dynamics, education, social initiatives, and experiences that reshape how we understand the world.

I would prioritize receiving guidance before arrival, understanding the cultural context, and having someone who can translate not only formal requirements but also invisible social codes.

Both co-founders have supported relocation and adaptation processes in multiple countries, working with a wide range of international profiles. We understand firsthand the emotional and logistical intensity of arriving somewhere new without a support network. That is why we created La Flânerie — so that young people do not have to improvise, but can arrive with a clear plan, structured guidance, and community support that goes beyond administrative status.

Miranda Bonhome

For over seven years, I have supported emotional processes for individuals of different ages, both in private practice (in-person and online) and in institutional settings. I currently work at Neurocare in the trauma and emotional regulation area and completed clinical training at Hospital Argerich.
Within La Flânerie, my role focuses on the psychological support of relocation and international mobility processes. I work from a preventive and strategic approach: preparing individuals emotionally before departure, strengthening personal resources, and supporting cultural adaptation so that transition does not escalate into unnecessary crisis.
I am particularly interested in how changes of city or country reshape identity, relationships, and personal projects. Traveling, exploring cultures, and observing different ways of life is not only something I deeply enjoy — it also allows me to understand firsthand what it truly means to start again.
